To British Open Participants:   It is wonderful to be competing in person again and we appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the great tradition of the British Open.   The pandemic has us all a bit rusty and DartConnect is no exception. We apologize for the delays and any inconvenience. We greatly appreciate the support that the Tri-Nations have extended us, and the DartConnect Team has worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to address the current concerns.   Please look forward to a better player experience on Sunday, starting with an improved match notification process.   In addition, we are excited to debut our latest feature:   Tournament Alert System!   Message officials directly from the tablet: Anytime you are using DartConnect for an event match, you can send a notification to the Control Desk.   This includes while waiting for an opponent/marker, as well as while scoring a live match. While they cannot resolve every issue (such as finding a marker), they will make every effort to resolve the issue.   If it is a technical or tablet issue, please check with others around you first. Chances are someone nearby can resolve this quickly without waiting for staff to arrive during peak match play!   The WDF, Event Staff and DartConnect are committed to creating a World Class Event Experience and appreciate your support and patience as we pursue this goal.   A timely, accurate event that promotes the game worldwide is our joint mission.
